FAQ's
DO YOU OFFER RESPITE CARE?
Yes, we will provide care for you or your loved one in the absence of
a family member or other caregiver. The service is also offered by JACC/CAP,
if you are qualified.
WHAT IS JACC/CAP?
JACC is the Jersey Assistance for Community Caregiving and Caregiver Assistance
Programs, which are designed to help nursing home eligible seniors stay
at or be transferred to their own homes by providing them with the day-to-day
service required.
WHO PAYS THE CAREGIVER?
Home Care 24-7 handles the entire billing, payroll, taxes, insurance and
administrative responsibilities for you or your loved one. No money is
exchanged with the employee in the home.
HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENTS FOR HOME CARE 24-7'S SERVICE?
Home Care 24-7's service can be paid Privately, through Medicaid, or the
Jersey Department of Senior Services and Community Caregiving (JACC),
or Private Insurance.
WHAT IS THE BILLING PROCESS?
We require the first week of billing in advance. You may pay be cash,
money order, or personal check. Thereafter, an invoice will be sent weekly.
ARE YOUR SERVICES AVAILABLE FOR THE ELDERLY IN NURSING HOMES OR
ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES?
Yes, Home Care 24-7 provides companionship to facility residents who require
additional attention.
HOW SOON CAN WE GET A HOMEMAKER-HOME HEALTH AIDE?
If possible, Home Care 24-7 would like 8 - 10 hours advance notice. However,
in the event of an emergency, there is a scheduling coordinator available
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year
